Training School

          Doug and Caroline Weil together bring over 40 years of experience in all phases of dog training to Central Wisconsin. Doug is an AKC Tracking Judge and a licensed Guide Dog Instructor. Caroline has shown in competitive obedience and agility for over 20 years, and currently owns and shows a National Agility Champion.
The Dog Works Training School for Dogs is our indoor training facility. It resides in a mostly residential neighborhood; very appropriate for the safety of dogs outside.

We offer group classes as well as private lessons in the following areas:
  • Obedience - for puppy, beginner, novice through utility
  • Agility - from novice to advanced in all venues (AKC, USDAA & NADAC)
  • Tracking - TD, TDX, and VST
We have a spacious 6000 square feet for anything from obedience training to agility courses. The building is fully heated and well-lit for any time of the day or year.

The concrete floors are covered wall-to-wall with a durable, non-slip rubber matting.

We also offer:
  • Herding lessons - AKC, ASCA and AHBA (we have sheep, ducks, and cattle)
  • Problem solving - specializing in the large working breeds
  • Obedience run-thrus
  • Canine Good Citizen testing
  • Therapy Dog Testing
For summer agility classes, we offer an outdoor, fenced yard of almost 15000 sqaure feet. This allows for multiple courses so students have more opportunities to train.
