The Dog Works is pleased to offer herding clinics and private lessons with Marc Christopher every year in the fall. Marc differs from traditional trainers in that he believes that the basic fundamentals of herding be taught first in a controlled environment. All dogs are started on a 25-foot line and taught the four basic maneuvers (flanking, stopping, and walking up/driving) as well as sending away from and leading into pressure. Here at The Dog Works, we believe that everyone has the capability to (and should) handle their own dog in herding. By implementing Marc’s methods, this is finally possible for any handler with any type of dog. To learn more about Marc, please visit his web site.

If you are interested in this year’s clinic, download the flyer in PDF or Microsoft Word.

Lessons are offered year-round, weather-permitting. Please contact us for more information or about any questions you may have.
